The Story of Clonmel Gaol

by admin on 03/12/2010

Clonmel author Dr. Michael Ahern in his forthcoming publication “Clonmel County Gaol” tells the story of one of the town’s best known institutions. It tells the personal stories of many of its infamous inmates, while describing the circumstances which led to children, as young as eight years of age, being sent there.

The book which is lavishly illustrated will be launched in the Museum on Friday December 3rd at 8 pm.

Hi Gillian, have just checked with Easons in Clonmel and they have the book in stock.

If you email them @ clonmel@easons.com they will help you in any way they can.
