The Maxi Zoo pet store in Clonmel is celebrating the long St. Patrick Day weekend in style with a snake hunt, fancy dress party and a feast of Kidz Club activities for children of all ages to enjoy.
The packed schedule of fun activities takes place at the store at Poppyfields Retail Park on St. Patrick’s Day, Friday, 17th March, Saturday 18th March and Sunday 19th March from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m..
A number of snake hunt clue posters have been hidden around the store. Snake hunters will need to find each clue and the letter attached to it before moving onto the next clue. Once they have found all eight letters they can bring the letters to the store’s snake pit to win a limited supply of goody bags.
Children are also invited to get into the spirit of the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations and to join Maxi Zoo’s pet experts in donning Irish themed fancy dress at its Kidz Club where they can learn all about responsible pet ownership and how best to take care of their pet.
Young store visitors can also colour in a special St. Patrick’s Day themed picture while enjoying free balloons and treats on the day. Pet parents meanwhile, can spoil their pets with lots of fantastic discounts each day.
The store’s pet expert will also be on hand to share their expertise with pet parents on how to make the most of spring and the improving weather conditions and brighter evenings.
“There is nothing like spring’s fresh air for people and animals to recharge their batteries. Spring also heralds the start of the moulting season and Maxi Zoo stock a complete range of natural feed, care and hygiene products and related equipment to give your pet a great coat,” said Alice Cross, Executive Director of Maxi Zoo
