Regional Skillnet Networks join forces for a Leadership and Management Development Seminar 16th May 2017…. 


Skillnet Networks across the South East are coming together to offer a comprehensive half day Leadership and Management Development Seminar at Lyrath Estate, Co Kilkenny on Tuesday, May 16th from 8.30am to 1pm.

This half day event is aimed at owner managers, learning and development professionals and those with an interest in professional development and may be engaged in Leadership and Management Development best practices through their organisation. Attendees will hear from some of Ireland’s leading industries and experts at the forefront of Learning and Development in the areas of Leadership Management, Coaching and Development and Succession Planning, backed by real life practical Case Study examples and panel discussion.

CSR Awards application deadline extended – Applications open until 27 April 2017

The CSR Awards celebrate the work being carried out by companies across Ireland to improve the lives of their employees and to enhance the civic environment in which they operate. The CSR Awards offer the business community a chance to promote and highlight the best practice CSR activities taking place in companies of all sizes across Ireland. 

The award categories include Excellence in Environment, Community (divided into Charity, Volunteering and Community Programme), Workplace, Marketplace, Supporting Youth Employment, CSR Communication, CSR by an SME and one company will be awarded the Outstanding Achievement in CSR 2017.

Irish Rural Link Annual Conference –  Friday 5th May, Sheraton Hotel, Athlone

The conference; “Micro Enterprise: A Key to Rural Employment – Outlining Pathways to Europe’’ will allow participants to reflect on the many issues facing rural microenterprises and the effect of Brexit on export opportunities.
The conference will look at how mirco enterprise and rural entrepreneurs are responding to these issues and explore supports available in order to create a pathway to the EU Single Market. 

Irish Rural Link will be promoting a new programme – MICRO, to promote growth and employment in rural areas by leveraging under utilised EU opportunities and promoting participation to EU single market by Microenterprises.  

So whether there is a need to influence policy makers to remember rural enterprises or simply to get advice, Irish Rural Link will be delighted to welcome all comers to the event
