Tipperary Minors.
Congratulations to the Tipp Minor team on their quarter final win over Limerick on Wednesday last which contained three of our club members. Josh Ryan, Joe Gunne and Niall Hoctor all represented themselves brilliantly on a historic night for Mary’s, topped off with a winning goal scored in injury time by Niall to secure the victory. Well done lads.

Camogie News.
A huge amount of work is being done at all levels within the camogie club. The U14’s has a good start at the weekend with all girls performing really well before winning out on a final score of St. Mary’s 1-5 Arravale Rover’s 1-0
Team : Saoirse Keating,Aoife Campion,Amy Mcmorrow,Niamh Carey,Grace Carey, Melissa Lawlor,Madeline Sheehan Kelly, Leah Cagney,Paige Ryan (captain), Roisin Dunphy,Emma Carey,Chantelle O’Brien.

County League.
The lads travelled to far off Kilcommon to face a shaper Sean Treacys side. Shorn of many regulars for a variety of reasons, those on show preformed reasonably well but ultimately went down on a successful scoreline of 0-25 to 0-16.

Feile.
The U14 Feile competition is underway and we have for the first time, two teams entered in the famous event. Our second team battled gallantly against a strong St. Patrick’s side from Drangan in the B final but were unable to muster the necessary scoring threat to win the game. At the time of print our other side will have faced Moyle Rovers in the A semi final. All results available on our social media sites.

Church Gate Collection.
We held a collection over the weekend around the various churches with the Clonmel public once again showing unwavering generosity toward our club for which we are extremely grateful. Thanks to the members who helped out, all of whom were coerced gently by Kevin Leahy and David O Donnell !!

All-Ireland Preview Night.
Tickets for the upcoming preview night on May 20th are now available throughout the town at a great price of just €10. A star studied line up of Anthony Daly, Tommy Walsh, Seanie McGrath, Eoin Kelly and John Mullane will look forward to the 2017 season in a fun and convivial atmosphere so make sure to secure a ticket.

Schools News.
Recent successes by St. Mary’s CBS and Clonmel High School underline the good work being done in our locality in our schools. Well done to all involved and the teachers who give of their time so freely. A special mention to Emmet Leahy in St. Mary’s CBS who has been a constant in promoting the game for many years.

Registration.
The March 31st deadline has come and gone with a welcomed response from our members. Any outstanding forms can still be returned this week.

Congratulations.
Well done to the Commercials contingent who were part of Tipperary footballers win in Croke Park last weekend. Michael, Jack, Kevin, Jason and Ian are all playing a blinder.
