Week 5 of Lent:  Hearing, Happening, Hoping is a reading of a biblical text in the hope of meeting God!  Meeting God is something that happens in our lives, so what we’re doing is discovering THE ONE who is already there.  Monday 12th March at 7.30pm in the Pastoral Centre, Irishtown with Sr. Teresa from the Presentation Convent.

St Mary’s Lourdes Pilgrimage 2018: This year’s Pilgrimage takes place on 2nd—7th August.  Cost is €740pps.  Costs includes return coach fare to Cork Airport, flights, city tax and accommodation.  Anyone who would like to book a place, please see one of the committee after the 6.15pm Vigil on Saturday at the Crying Room at the back of the Church.  This year marks the 160th Anniversary of the Apparition of Our Lady at Lourdes, 1858 – 2018.

Monday 12th March:  Diocesan Listening Process at the Hotel Minella at 7pm.  The aim is for the Diocesan Pastoral Council to hear the concerns and needs of the Clonmel Pastoral area and other Pastoral areas with a view to drawing up a new Pastoral Plan for the Diocese.  The other Pastoral areas will be meeting in the coming weeks. Two Pastoral areas have already met.

We would like to thank the Corporation for cleaning the snow in the main car park last Saturday and Shaun Walsh, Glenconnor who cleared the small car park and side of the Church last Saturday and Fr Eanna Condon who cleared the front Portico of the Church.  It was a great demonstration of civic spirit and community awareness.
