South Tipperary Arts Centre will be holding four events for Culture Night 2018. These events include 2 exhibitions in the Arts Centre, Intruder / A Heart Amongst the Rubble by Shay Hurley and Debride by Brigid Teehan of Beehouse Arts, a theatrical performance in various locations and classical music under the arches of the Main Guard

Every October, artists all over the world take on the Inktober drawing challenge by doing one drawing a day the entire month.

South Tipperary Arts Centre will be celebrating all things illustration and animation during the month of October with our ‘Inktober – Illustrating Tipperary’ mini-festival.

There’ll be an exhibition, a botanical illustration workshop, screenings of animated films for children and adults including; The Iron Giant, and Loving Vincent. We will also be having artist talks, drop-in drawing clinics and guided sketch walks in Clonmel, Cahir, Fethard and Carrick-on-Suir

Clonmel Applefest is a brand new festival which aims to celebrate the unique ‘sense of place’ emanating from Clonmel’s special location and mix of industrial and agricultural activities and heritage. for more information on Apple fest, click here

South Tipperary Arts Centre in conjunction with the new Clonmel Applefest are planning the second ‘Start Together’ on Sunday 30thSeptember at the New Quay car park area of Clonmel. The showcase event will be part of the Clonmel Applefest’s Vale of Honey community event and be an opportunity for community groups to showcase their activities to the public and gain new members, through demonstrations, info points, performances and short showcases.Local groups contact us on 052 612 7877 or to exhibit.
