Suir Blueway Tipperary Walks

On Saturday the 18th May 2019 community walks will be held to launch the Suir Blueway Tipperary. Walks will depart from Ormond Castle, Carrick on Suir and The Monument Car Park (under Gashouse Bridge) Clonmel at 12 noon finishing in Kilsheelan where Today FM will be promoting Suir Blueway Tipperary for the afternoon until 4pm, kindly hosted by Kilsheelan Tidy Towns. Lots of fun filled activities are planned before the walk commences and along the route including music, art, seed bombing and much more.

Car parking is available close to both start locations in Suirside Car Park Clonmel and New Street Car Park Carrick on Suir.

The walk from Clonmel to Kilsheelan is approximately 9.5 km and the walk from Carrick on Suir to Kilsheelan is approximately 12 km. A community event will take place upon arrival in Kilsheelan following completion of the walks. Shuttle buses will be provided in Kilsheelan for return to start locations.
