my family shop dargans was at the top of the road Dillon st. and kickham st. and king st. corner until 1971 there was a shop where the crecent is now called tommy demseys anyone remember long time ago another character from kickham st. was a guy called scorchy McGrath my mother r I p gave him the fare my mother helped many people that time on the book she never refused anyone credit many out there would remember her I also remember pykes had a small shop in kickham st and also Nellie drohans shop some of the ppl that lived in kickham st. bretts arrigans the bretts father worked on the railway and the eldest son as well I think buddy Donohue the undertaker lived there as well great ppl. those times I was lot of poverty but it was a gift to have known them

Wondering if anyone has any information about any Byrne’s living on 12 Kickham Street in the 1940’s? Possibly a May, or Mary Byrne. As far as i know she was definitely there in 1944, but that’s the extent of the knowledge i have.
