After Whites closed, it was bought by a man named Maher, I think he was a brother of Seamus who had a Chemist Shop in O’Connell St, he turned it into a modern Pub ‘ The Savoury Club’ and it was later taken over by Billy Gibbs

i worked in whites 1956 1957 all the old lords@ladies used to shop there it was next door to the ormand hotel good memories thanks

hi vincent nice to see you still interested in old homestead its just a pity to see all the old building torn town and replaced by new ones

I know it’s Gladstone Street and I think the TSB Bank is there now
