When I was a lad in short pants in the 60s my mother used to send me to Kennedys for 2and6 worth of round steak I remember Mr Keys I think was his name with the eyepatch

I loved seeing those photos. I was born in Clonmel many years ago. Just before the 2nd world war the whole family immirgrated to London. Been back a few times. Am now living in Brussels Belgium. I’ll be coming back to see if you have anymore photos

Martin keogh owned that building for the past 40 yrs and it was used as an antique shop by his wife in the 70s and 80s Kathleens Antiques ,this was followed by Options shoe shop ,funnily enough Martin was a butcher but never used the premises as a butchers shop ,he operated his butchers shop from the quay where John Walls fish shop is now trading,

Yes you are right Lynda, Options used to be there but has been used on and off as a bookshop
