This month we are aiming the meeting at catering for new and relatively new growers. If you have never grown anything before or have tried and not succeeded, or had limited success, or would simply like to learn a little more and extend your growing knowledge then please come along. Everyone is always welcome, whether to impart knowledge and experiences or ask questions or simply to share interest in growing food.
The idea is to form small groups with a mixture of new and more experienced growers together in which plans for the season can be discussed, ideas of what to grow where and when, how to prepare the soil etc. If you want to bring along a sketch of your growing area/tubs/window boxes this might prove useful.
We will also be discussing a project the group is hoping to fulfil in the town this year, with the help of a grant we have just been awarded by Energia. So come along and be involved.
As usual, we will begin the evening at 6.30 with light refreshments and finish by 8 o’clock in Clonmel Library on Wednesday, 8th March.
I look forward to seeing you there.
